VA Standard 7-1: Plans and creates artworks using the principles of design to organize the elements of art for creating a composition. Materials clay stamps (made in prior lesson), acrylic paint, craft paper.

Standard 1-4: Uses imagination and immediate environment, including family, home, and surroundings, as sources for ideas.

Students learn to use screen filler, and drawing fluid as well as the dynamics of negative and positive space as it related to creating a printed image on fabric.
